Founded in 1975, Blouberg Homes has built up a vast amount of experience in today's property market. Blouberg Homes also has a further 15 years experience in sectional title and home owners associations covering all areas of property management.

Foreign buying interest in South Africa's property market is likely to be given new impetus as a result of the signing of a formal agreement between one of the country's largest players, the 200 strong NRN (National Referral Network) and TEAM Overseas, a long established association of over 700 independent estate agents situated throught the United Kingdom and Europe.

This newly established union heralds a new era in the South Africal real estate industry. People will have access to hundreds of offices throughout the UK and Europe operating under one umbrella. This affiliation would offer a number of "real" benefits both locally and overseas: All NRN and TEAM Overseas members are hand picked on the basis of their professionalism, integrity and reputation. The advantage is also of being able to deal with anyone of the over 600 offices in the UK and another 100 throughout Spain, Cyprus, Portugal, Turkey, France, Dubai, the Canary Islands and Florida in the USA. Consumers would be able to do detailed property searches by hyperlinks via all NRN and TEAM offices.

Although it is believed that the "feeding frenzy" has eased off somewhat, it is still very much a fact that there is a steady and sustainable interest coming from a range of foreign purchasers, including those wanting to retire in South Africa to be close to friends and family and for the climate.
